A true workhorse, the HH-43 played a crucial role in rescue and firefighting missions, earning a reputation for its reliability in some of the most challenging conditions.
A variant of the H-21/H-34 family, the HH-43 Huskie was deployed by USAF Pararescue and Fire Protection personnel during the Vietnam War. It was instrumental in extracting wounded soldiers from battlefields and providing vital fire suppression in combat zones. The U.S. Air Force operated the HH-43 from 1964 until 1975, when it was phased out and replaced by newer helicopters such as the Bell 205A1 and Hughes 500D ("Echo" model).
This shirt honors the legacy of those who flew these heroic missions, offering a tribute to a piece of military aviation history
